This system uses a Partlow controlled variable frequency drive to control the steam pressure of a wood waste boiler by proportionately feeding wood waste into the system.

A boiler auger controller can be a system as simple as a single Partlow 1160 monitoring steam pressure and controlling via a variable frequency drive (VFD or 'freq drive'), to as complicated as the gasification controller shown here.

Shown above is an optional computer interface, with adjustments for steam pressure, stack temperature and firebox temperature as well as access to the PID parameters for the steam pressure / auger controller.  The computer interface also provides historical logging, which can completely replace the need for conventional chart recorders.
